On the Brighter Side, Copper used in Ecoprinting

A few blogs ago I mentioned iron as color/mordant, today I would like to suggest copper outcomes are lively with brightness and areas closest in contact exhibit a lovely green patina , yes textile patina "novel right" I thought so too.
[If I haven't mentioned prior please know you can click on images for an expanded closer view]

nice greenish oak leaf outline
greenish surface contact very noticeable here

again prevalent greenish surface contact areas plus an overall brightness in hue
{prunus plum twig and leaf, locust tree leaf, onion skin, black walnut leaf on bundle surface hull in bath water - silk no mordant, copper pipe and pot}

Very detectable brightness, especially the in the yellows.
{prunus plum twig and leaf, locust tree leaf, onion skin, sassafras tree leaf, wild grape leaf, oak tree leaf, black walnut leaf on bundle surface hull in bath water I call it the "mixed blessing" due to so many variety of plant based used - cotton textile, alum mordant, copper pipe and pot}

A really fresh green brightness and the blues are a nice surprise in contrast to the above indigos.
