I am a phase, cycle, process kinda girl. Each single step revealing beauty and wisdom. Slow long soaks in a tannin rich bath seems to be a gentle natural approach to waking up winters slumber. Spring is as spring does, typically in and out just like that. In the past I pushed right through preliminary tannin soaks eager to get on with it. This spring I am purposed to gifting myself time to enjoy a variety in pinkish tint outcomes from long rested tannin soaks.  Can I say this approach feels right, the outcomes natural, unpredictably beautiful and wise. It feels like a full moon should, all things illuminated oh so lovely, intentionally bathed with time and organic innate responsiveness.  The stitches, the drape, the fiber content, the tannins and time to grow in fullness.
